Yep! A little surprised myself, but when it is not in use for racing, it is a public road, so anyone can do the lap.

Great Video….. always get a mountain run in when I’m up that way.

There are few properties that line the track, and their drive ways lead on/off the track…. It’s still are 2 way street, you usually find a lot of the locals use the track for running/walking cycling

The local high way patrol also uses the residents as spotters for anyone that thinks there Peter Brook.

Yes, I was well aware of the posted speed limits and with passengers on board, stayed legal.

Used my creative license to speed things up a bit when I created the video. :)

Stage 2 bits arrived today at the workshop. I am using Ivan at x3emotorsport. I have known Ivan for sometime when he was a backyarder, but now he has a workshop and fabricator, so he has the task of installing all the stage 2 bits. SC unit was removed and sent back to Raptor SC on Tuesday. Arrived this morning.

SC unit maintenance and upgraded bearing completed and sent back on the same day by Raptor SC. Cannot complain about that service! Thanks Tim. :)

Now patiently waiting for the SC unit to arrive and we should have the Stage 2 install completed next week if there are no issues.

Next part will be the post install tuning.

Ivan the oil guy?

Awesome bloke and very knowledgeable, just a shame that Trasco oil filter was too big for the 2.5 model. Looked like a great bit of kit.

Yep, Ivan the "oil guy". He does a lot of after market intakes, turbos and exhausts for the Evo's, Mini's but not so much for the Subies.

Oops, got ahead of myself. The stage 2 bits are still in transit, however the SC unit is also in transit so hopefully get them all next week.

There's always cops across the mountain too which limits the fun that can be had.
Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Not that I saw any, but was assured they are there. On the street leading up to the track, there was one parked Hwy patrol car, but looked empty. Still, not worth the risk in such a high profile area.

When my mrs and I first started going out I used to make her go with me to mt panorama all the time (her families about 15mins out of Lithgow, she's not too inbred so it's ok). Saw so many young guys in V8 utes and grunter hunters (pig hunters) getting pulled over. I don't know how people love on the mountain. Great road though.
