I've sorted what I want to do, just gotta prioritize the wheels / lowering thing!! Wheels 1st then lower, or lower then wheels...

you should do wheels first, then you know how much you want to lower it

That's what I've sort of deduced, so now I'm just double checking the offsets.

Yep, can see what you mean by the slight silver affect.

Is the tint a metallic based tint?
Who did it?
Don't spose you know what brand and model film was used?

Do you work for PD in the house sales game or was this just a convenient spot for a few shots? Just saying that cos I'm just spending a lot of money with you guys and I'm sure I've seen that display village a few times in the last 6 mths. :P

cpitts - the photo is actually almost identical to Jims. There's a link I posted a few threads back, have a look at that and we can see what I mean.

The film is not metallic - the issue is that the GTB windows at the back have black glass so when put a film on it still looks black, but the fronts are just plain clear, so it looks different. The camera pics it up as more silver-ish, but the tint is the blackest color tint that they had.

As for PD - no! Sorry. But I am in the property game - PM me if you want more info. I have a house being built in that estate though!

Steve, here is a pic of mine...

I tinted the front windows 20%, left the middle ones untinted cause the factory glaze was dark enough and the rear sides and rear door tinted 35% (standard legal - NSW) because the those glass panels have a factory glaze also, but not as dark as the middle... dunno why???? go figure.

I played around with several tints and different combinations and found this to be the perfect match.

I think I have some day time shots somewhere but need to find it.

Just realise how similar our cars are :)

Trieu,

Mate - Nice car that!!! Haha!! Yes, similar indeed! Won't be soon though!

As for the windows, mine looks like that at night too. I agree with your comment about the middle window - weird eh?!? Nutters I say! So I actually tinted the whole car again. I can't remember with %'s though.

What brand of tint did you use?

Cheers

If you want the best in Melbourne, talk to Rob Tait at Car Tint.

http://www.cartint.net.au

Tell him that Craig Pitts referred you and that I said I should be on commission. ;-)

He's done all my Subarus so far and specialises in Subaru's. He's also been used by manufacturers for show cars at the motor show, etc, so he knows his stuff and he ONLY uses the best films. Lets just say he takes a dim view of Formula 1 Tint (which I used to think was the benchmark). After he converted me to the tints he uses, I'd never go back to F1 tint, it chips WAY too easy on frameless doors.

cpitts - it's not F1 mate. F1 is metallic based, this film is not.

I'll get in touch with Rob though.

Thanks.
