17x7.5" JDM STI wheels courtesy of cruisn (viewtopic.php?f=68&t=25158).

The car had the 87,500 service this week, and the Kobe Motorsport turbo intake hose and AVO throttle body hose fitted.

Spark plugs aren't due until 100,000km, but with the issues I've been having (sluggishness), I thought I might as well have them replaced as well. The car was also smoke tested for boost leaks, and there are none.

What was found was a faulty A/F sensor. $585 from Subaru for a new OEM one, apparently there's a Denso one I can get for ~$100, but I'm grabbing a second hand one in good condition for $50 to see how that goes first.

Wheels have arrived, they'll get fitted on Sunday. :)

Sometimes doing the most basic of maintenance is the best thing the car needs.

In the end, the standard ones (NGK SILFR6A). I was going to go with one step colder (NGK LFR7AIX), but Nick from NRG said he'd struggle to get them in on short notice, and that for the power levels I'm pushing, they're not required.

Don't buy locally if you don't have to - $35 each from several places I checked...

They're JDM STI wheels, 17x7.5", +55 offset. They'll fit over Brembos should I ever take that path.

I bought them from cruisn. They are in amazing condition, but then again, I expected that from Mark. :)

They arrived at the local e-Go depot yesterday, I grabbed them today (via an intermediary), they go on the car tomorrow (my stock 18" wheels and tyres are spoken for, sending them to their new owner on Monday).

Why did you opt for 17 inch wheels? Sorry if you've explained your decision earlier in your thread :)

Lighter, slightly more supple ride, tyres are between $150 and $200 a corner cheaper than on 18" rims.
