A high flow cat on each bank. Delete the 3rd cat. Custom join to replace that.

Mate it to the xforce centre and y pipe as it will fit up to any mufflers you choose.

Removing the cats to replace them with high flows (which are a waste anyway) will take as much effort as relocating the sensors.

The 3rd cat is good, and has no need to be deleted or replaced. And it works out cheaper to get it all custom fabricated instead of using an xforce centre and y. (Which the vic dealers won't supply me anyway [they will only sell full catback])

Plus I 100% need a centre muffler in the centre pipe.

What do you plan on doing with your sensors if you remove the front cats?

Where the 3rd cat is Will be custom made anyway so why would you keep the cat there?

Bestmufflers will ship you the catback.

for less than $275, the exhaust shop will fabricate a new centre and y pipe and weld the centre muffler in there.
*if* i remove the two cats, the sensors will be mounted back into the new 2 to 1 Y.
I'm still not sure if removing them will even allow for more power, no one has been able to tell me for sure yet.
If i don't remove them, i won't be swapping them for Hi-Flow cats either.

We'll be doing very similar things and I am 90% sure I want to keep at least the 2 front cats, happy for the third to go. Whether or not I will upgrade them to hi-flow I don't know yet. It probably has more to do with the inner/outer situation of the current cats.

Why do you want to keep them, just for EPA? Is it even legal to remove the 3rd cat?

If it came with it from factory (as it did) its unroadworthy to remove it as it changes the vehicles emission system.

Ahh interesting. So removing the 3rd is no different from removing the front 2 really...
I wonder how many mechanics (when getting a RWC) would pick up that its missing 1. Or two..

Where can i find the plastic screws that basically hold the entire car together?
Need them for underneath the car (splash guards ETC and also for things like the wiper bottle, plastic air scoop thingy)
Car's being held together with cable ties right now.

I've seen them on ebay, but i don't want to wait 2-3 weeks.

I want to badge the front grill. It's just a black mesh at the moment, it's boring me being plain, plus the brushed STI badge on the lip is cool.
What badge to people think?

- OEM subaru in silver/blue

- Black/ silver STI badge 8-10cm (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Subaru-STI-car-badge-WRX-Impreza-Forester-outback-/300949456468?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4611fc4654&_uhb=1)
(overkill seeing as its not tbSTI?)

- Not that i've found one, but either SPEC B / LIBERTY / LEGACY in a cursive font/silver, similar to the 'corazon' on their grills?
(favourite so far) (need to see if they exist)
