lol, I been enjoying my patrol with the fuel injection I just put on it! hard to use both at once, I do think you guys get lost in over modding stuff, don't see lots of under 300kw cars with upgraded diffs

In all fairness though, he's only upgrading to diffs out of an STI which come with less than 200kw from factory. Some people like power and some people like handling.
Come to think of it, my open diffs will be my weakest link during my time attack later this year :?

Dunno if you've noticed, I'm completely lost in over-modifying my car ;) !!!

I'll get it up to a certain standard and then get cracking on the Baur, not to ruin it, but to bring out its best :)
They need a fair bit of welding to run heavier sways so I'll go the Shockworks route with quality dampers, compliant springs and stock or no sways ;)

Ok so I had a reality check chat with my local mechanics :)

The new warble on startup is not the clutch TOB it's the starter motor front bearing...
It can wait till it get a new clutch. 200k old clutch lives on!

I brought up my timing belt service items and they said, are you made of money with rocks in your head?
They want to do all the pulleys and idlers, water pump & gasket, of course, but with a Dayco kit, and skip the cam seals and thus the "just because I have replacement" inlet cam gears. Needless to say it could be very affordable :)
