Gt35 10cm rear? 44mm external gate? :D.

What throttle body hose are you running? I blew my stock one up earlier in the year and got a tomie racing one. Haven't had any issues since.

Get a precision 6262 or 6266 in there and be done with it!

If you want to run e85, run a twist mounted GTX3076. In my opinion you don't see the benefits of the GTX wheels without running e85 (or the higher boost levels allowed by the fuel).
My understanding is that stock location turbos are a bit of a restriction, in both spool in top end. Essentially companies are grafting new Garrett compressor housings onto old MHI or their own exhaust housings. Taylor's suggestion of a GT35 with a 10cm rear housing I assume means a Garrett 35 compressor with a MHI 10cm rear housing. So an 82mm compressor wheel being spun by a company's in house exhaust wheel crammed in td06 10cm housing. I read somewhere that the 10cm equates to a .71 A/R, which is pretty tight on a 2.5. You would go a .84 from the Garrett catalog if you were going twist mount.

To get an idea of what you want have a look through www.turbobygarrett.com and the blouch webiste (if you want to go stock mount). You should be able to compare the compressor and exhaust sizes. Have a look at what guys in the US of A are making on 2.5's with those turbos. Realistically, knock their dyno numbers down by 20-30 percent, as seppoes get much higher readings, and the main thing to take away from their graphs is where they start making power, and can they hold boost until redline.

I say keep what you have and find out why it is down on power. Most likely something simple like an air leak.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

atm i wont run e85 as id need id2000 a pump that wont fit into the tank and a few other fuel bits.

so far ive looked at all turbo sites, garret, blouch, precision, bw and fp ha ha. its funny cause the guys in the US are using all different types of turbos, some are not even that big and doing better numbers than some of the bigger ones.... ive been speaking with msr and he said use a blouch xtr 3 but i dont know its its big enough

i have had a few boost leaks and been fixing them as i go so itspossible that has something to do with it but i doubt it be 40awkw tbh

Yeh but the US numbers don't mean shit. You can tell by going to their "Fastest Legacy" thread and seeing their quarter mile times. Dyno figures are a very subjective thing, like Ian said focus on their curves more than their numbers to see how the turbo holds the power

yeah i take lots of them numbers with a grain of salt, would be heaps of happy dynos there too. i will go check the fastest legacy and have a look see...

ive been checking power under the curve which is why sometimes a smallr turbo can be better than a massive unit, no point having a huge turbo that has peak torque at 5000rpm around the st and i dont want to rev it too 8000-9000 rpm like some of those crzy fuckers ha ha

update

after driving the car on and off mainly as a weekend car I started to feel it was down on power so I did a learning veiw

Image

after this I went on a search for a vac leak and found the intake tube not on correctly and a few hoses that might be sus, I tried getting the 3 inch tube on the turbo with no luck, there wasn't enough clearance on the tgv to do so so I pulled the tgv out on the drivers side but in doing so I found some really poor stuff...

Liquid nails in the TGV holes? :P

I think that whopper step is supposed to be there, right? To turbulate the intake charge?

Hey so whilst the inlet mani etc is off can you please take a pic of the top of the engine showing to where the braided oil line/s go to?

You can see it starting at the banjo just infront of the turbo inlet.

Where does it go to?

PS I'm lovin the PCV return line blocked off with a furniture leg stopper!
