car currently has an issue with a really stupid sound coming from some kind of gasket somewhere that i can't figure out.

also has stock wheels, stock intake and stock headers at the moment after getting defected.

but that will all go back on soon enough... maybe.

but soon will be: headlights being fixed and legacy badge.
then replace the clutch which ill have to give a go myself.

Fuuuck, what did you get done in for? Where at? Did they use lube?

It was a big defect operation in Wollomoloo. They only fiddled me. No penetration! Haha.

Out of the possible $600-700 fine the cop wanted to get me for I ended up only getting a $0 fine haha!

Cop wanted to get me for: height, wheels, tyres, coilovers, HIDs, exhaust.

RMS went over it, only got: wheels and not having parker globes (which I took out and forgot to replace)

I got so fkn lucky.

Hahah! Damn that's so lucky. RTA need to revise some of their rules, I reckon.

Either way, it's a bitch to clear and wastes time. And that feeling of going back to stock.

As if they didn't get me for everything else.

They rushed me because a 6.0L meth injected LS powered torana pulled up next to me that was so loud that it could be heard suburbs away. I bet they gave him a good rimming.

Come end of January, this cars fate will be decided. Most likely at this point be put up for sale. I've said this once before I know but I don't want this car anymore. It will be 4 Years I've owned it, it's had a good run.
There is still SO much I want to do to it to make it one of the best gen3's in aus. However I'd rather put my efforts into something more long term.

Lol no, I won't have that much mulah.
I'll have about (hopefully) 20k to spend. I like cars that are old and need my help. Haha
Don't think I like any new cars that aren't 100k+
Too boring for me.

I agree totally with this :)

And I went through a breath test during the week and the cop said "you know those wheels are too big for your car right?"
I was like "yeah a little" and he said "pump the guards and get bigger tires otherwise when I see you I shall have to defect you"
then I said I'm getting smaller wheels on this coming Monday and he then said " they look awesome but they are just too big"

He was a top cop :)

so little wittle update on Roxy;

got the car back today after getting a few things done whist i was away on holidays!

-new clutch kit (feels so weird but so much bite!)
-new shifter bushings
-new belts, all filters including cabin filters and an all over service.
car feels solid!

also i had the exhaust fixed, i originally suspected a valve cover gasket leak, turned out to be a big crack in my mid pipe. (phew!) that was sewn up. sounds good again. :D

a little bit of modding done;
new nuts! (work nuts from G88)

however the next mod is one that i am most satisfied with, and cannot thank Leo enough for the help! (well all the work haha but my idea!)
so my JDM covers were absolute shit, so i got Leo to swap my AUDM covers with my JDM covers. then i had the idea to paint the indicator part black to suit the rest. and here are the results (so happy!)

Im undecided on the blacking out of the indicator surround....

Its a pretty large black area in the light. Post a direct front on shot.

didn't take one. will do tomorrow. i honestly love it. i have always hated that dull silver around the indicator. lord knows its an ugly head light to start with.
it makes it look more modern imo
