I have been contemplating this recently as the heat trapped in the car being unused for some weeks has caused my dash to start lifting and am thinking hopefully I can use these to keep the window open just a crack to vent the heat out but also keep the unwanted rain out def keen
And might swing a pm your way owen

I hear it's a big issue towards the equator.
I use a DIY insulated windscreen shade...
Seen success with recovering in leather or alcantara.

It's some Mylar bonded foam from work. Massive difference.

I completed fixing a customer's SG Foz XT today...
His airpump was crapped out so I loaded and logged a special stock boost economy tune from Matt w/ airpump CEL disable, and blocked off the pump to heads air hose with a welsh plug and hoseclamp.
During logging we noticed his VVT angles were out of sync, so today I swapped in a good second hand OCV on the passenger side which is a five minute job.
Reset the ECU and will LV and log it in a week or two.
The great thing about it is the guy is a professional retoucher so I'm getting his mentorship as contra for the work on the car and that is priceless :)
Another customer for my nascent detailing services as well.

Nice Benny :)

Those OCVs are a right pain in the ass IME! I'm not sure what the 2.5L ones are like, but getting the RHS inlet OCV out on my 2.0L sucked big time :(

The LHS replacement was only pulling the head breather and undoing the bolt and harness.
The Foz RHS OCV looked way more buried in various gaurds and piping so it was a major win to not have to mess with it.

Nice Ben!

Mine arrived on Tuesday, hoping to install it this weekend. I got the newer F105S version that they just released. Great bit of equipment and their service staff are great. Highly recommend anyone looking for easier oil changes to grab one from http://www.fumoto.com.au/

The only issue I see with these taps are, not all your oil drains out, I like to leave my car for a few hours if possible to drain it as much as possible and they drain too slow if u want to do a quick oil change

Hey Ben, I didn't replace my crush washer the last two changes lol doesn't leak either !! You like that ?

I have one of the Fumoto oil taps on my car. Aside from making oil changes easy, it also makes taking oil samples easy. :)

Hot oil changes would be better with one of those... last oil change I did was after a uec and it burnt me a fraction

oil cap off doesnr make much difference with normal oil changes I doubt it would help much, oil still sticks to stuff and takes a little while to fall back to the sump.

would work great for oil samples

Oil change with new filter, fumoto and HPR10.
Bought a PCV from Makin & Luby which I may fit tomorrow.
Noticed one of the front rear diff bracket bushings is leaking the viscous fluid so researching replacements/upgrades...
