Got one in KW, looks same, 224just at the tyres, not at the hubs... :D

Put another map in it today, goes heaps harder off boost and spools earlie, top is the same.

Later this month I'm going to do a power run at ASG on a hub dyno as a double check of mixtures etc...

Be interesting to see those dyno sheets in comparison.

Drove it in cool air last night for the first time, I like it a LOT in cooler conditions, goes so much harder!!

Your motor is bomb proof, sell your blouch to a kid on rexnet (that is what I plan on doing) and whack a 35r on the asap. Seriously, the most over engineered set up on this forum. I don't think people realise because of the somewhat conservative output.

I agree

FP black or 6266 or gtx3076/3082 and make 350kw atw on 98 Ron fuel and 400 on e85

Comparing his build sheet to mine reminds me of the time that Ron Jermey stood next to me at a urinal on the Gold Coast.

Yeah, we got to check out a lot more stuff.

Now that the big part of the build is done gonna enjoy this faster spooling setup while I do my homework to get serious, its, it's no trouble hahah! :D

For consideration before future steps is:

FMIC but which one....?? It's an obstacle course under there now.

Bigger turbo but which one.....?? FP Black, 6266, gtx3076, have to go rotated for those I guess

Will i need 3 bar MAP (which one..) or can we rescale the stocker??

This extra will probably mean I mIght need bigger injectors as already hitting 65% duty at 25degree ambient......bugger..$$

But the big question is, can the auto take it!!??? Seriously not sure about it at 50% more powa....

Your comments are very welcome. Your personal experiences more than welcome.

What ever turbo you get, make sure it is a "rotated" style thing. Whilst I don't have Matt's experience in the area, from what I have seen turbos all seem to perform better with the factory style rear housings, not Frankenstein into exhaust housing that fits a subaru.

Again good advice from the man

Is it bad if I say I have something against these blouch turbos for some reason? I can't quite put my finger on it but I've yet to see one pull a ripper time / trap speed at the drags - I don't think so anyway....

Forced Performance are another animal altogether though.

Mine worked really well, it made power and all that. But it had the lag one would have expected from a 3076, and not the top end potential.

Jarrad don't bother with anything else except a Borg Warner EFR - great spool and top end.

This is what I'll be going for next as I can't leave the awesome torque of 500nm by 3200.

As for the comment about over engineered and not pushing the numbers try mine - Cosworth CS600x 2.65L long motor running a pidly Blouch TD05 - 20G - but the low end grunt makes up for the top end numbers.

We should line them up on a private race track one day......................................

The Borg Warner turbos are too long and would be hard to get into a rotated set up with rh drive cars
