Aidos, ill give you a definite price when I get home, ill check for you
the wheels are sweet biccies, the more i look at them, the more i like them. And i havent gutter rashed them yet

on another note: I installed an ultrex strut brace yesterday. Im going to say the change is minimal but i have noticed a difference in the way the car handles through the corners

the numpties that installed my coilovers must be 'special' :angry2:
I made a discovery yesterday that my left rear coilover is set a few mm higher than my right rear.
Not happy to say theleast. Can anyone suggest a decent suspension shop, or atleast someone who know what they are doing? Id like to get the car properly set up height/camber wise

That sure does suck about your coilovers and if you were in vic I would recommend but not sure about NSW and any pics of the strut brace installed?

If someone tips you off Simon let me know. After my muppet hands have been on my coils, they're starting to make noises. Would like a pro to reset them. I don't want to go to G88 cause I'll get the "this is why we don't sell BC's" lecture.
Apparently i've never been on live television before

Heasman Steering would be my bet - they're not cheap but from what I gather their workmanship is top notch :good:

Raiser is a piece of piss!

All you need is some aluminium brackets (measure the distance from where the plate overhangs the lower air dam of the bar then x20mm wide), drill two holes in either end, and presto, you'll have a nice little DIY raiser

I'm happy to help make one if you want

Hell yeh Simon on both counts!

Plates are winning and board is even more winning.

I have a set of alloy plate spacers for the JDM bar sitting here right now if you want them.

Bring board next time in Melbourne and I'll take you out.....

of course i'd like them Mark :D
How much would you like for them? PM if you dont want everyone to see... :)

The board is brand new, entry level Mal.
$490 for the board, bag and leash.
9'6" x 23" x 3.5"

Its a thick board but for me being a beginner its perfect!
Hopefully the swell is good tomorrow on the way home and I might stop in for a bit

Postage costs only.

I'll pm you later.....

9'6" is massive for a beginner. I would have gone a 7'6" or so.

I needed something big for me, being a big guy. the 8'6" minimal i've been using hasnt been cutting it.
Once i get confident, and better, ill progress to shorter boards :)

Your not that big! :P

Im 6'2" 100kg and one of my favorite boards is my 6'0" retro fish.

Bigger board is easy to paddle and more stable to get up on, but harder to turn as you have to be in the exact right spot to turn it properly.

For learning IMO, you need a compromise between the two.

the beach I've been surfing at usually only gets swell around 3 - 4 ft most of the time, its a rare occasion its bigger.

Although Sunday the swell was around 1.5m and Monday was supposed to be around 3m
