I was using a cheap catch can as the water resivoir, which worked well until i tried to put the drain/fill bolt in... it stripped the threads on the bolt so that was a no go. Out it came an in went a 90 degree brass fitting.

I got the car to a state that it could drive/idle and so i took it for short test drive without going over 2000rpm. Felt ok.

Went for another drive Got 30mins down the road and the pressure relief cap on the heat exchanger popped off.... i suspect i forgot to put it on properly Haha
This then made the Bosch water pump short out and fried the nice wiring i had done... Fitted a spare pump i had and put temporary wiring in with it directly connected to the battery. Not ideal but it worked. Intake air Temps on freeway were below 23 and when in traffic didn't get above 30 - Success it works!
Met up with Matt he worked his magic on the tables to get a rough base tune as we had no idea what the pressure of the wastegate spring was. Had a few vacuum leaks, In my rush i forgot to block off the stock BOV... I had the electrical connector for the 3 port plugged in backwards... and forgot to put a hose clamp on inlet side of the intercooler.
Fixed the hose clamp issue and the 3port... We then tried a quick run, the tube going into the throttle hose popped off.
Fixed it then determined that the headers are leaking like a sieve so called it a day.
Wasn't too disappointed as at the start of the day the car didnt move under its own power and by the end was kind of drivable Haha
Wile driving home the throttle hose popped AGAIN... I then tightned it down as much as i could and babied it home.
Dug my foot into the peddle as i was almost home and split the stock throttle hose Hahaha luckily this time the clamp wasn't the issue
