TBH guys, i never ran it on premium 100, i just got the tune done in case i need to fall back to it.

i'm going to monitor the fuel consumption over the next few weeks. Since i got the car back i've been having some fun with it. I used to fill up once or twice a week depending on how much driving i've done of course. e85 uses more fuel but it's cheaper, so once i've got some data under the belt, i'll report back with the info.

If e85 chews too much, i always have the fall back option to premium 100. That alone was a great jump in kw from RON98.

I'm with the others I think the colour matched parkers suit better but as Justin said you're the one that matters!

I also want to do the dual map route, how do you switch between tunes? Notebook in the glovebox?

I get about 12 hours on my laptop battery so it's with me most of the time.

But yes, laptop, plug in and switch ROM. Only thing is, the tank needs to be drained to switch fuels. So you can bridge the pump and disconnect a hose and spit it out to a can...

That's what i wish i did when i had to do it a few weeks back.

Long story short, before i was getting the tune done for premium 100, i put in 20 litres of the wrong stuff. It was the 95 +10% ethanol stuff... I didn't think to bridge the fuel pump, so instead i was turning the key on and off to spit a bit of fuel out each time... Half hour later and it was done, but not a fast process.

you can always disconnect the return line and run the car and it will pump it out from there if your not good at bridging fuel relays

Decided it was time to get a battery and got a Optima Yellow Top D35. Blends in nicely with all the yellow!

hey brian, can you tell me what all the go with the yellow top batteries are?

I generally run them lower than that, fuel light comes on with about 10 litres left.
