Your doing it wrong.....

Goes on the door panel, not trim.

You want to keep all acoustics from the front of the speaker to the rear seperated.

I do realise I'm not doing it the "conventional" way however, after testing it out tonight its made a huge difference and I'm happy with the results. with the results I have got, I can't really see that putting it on the the door would make more, if any difference.

Thanks Chris! Just can't wait untill these wheels are on and I can start loving my car again.

It's funny, trying to make your car better makes me feel worse sometimes. It's the end hope that keeps me going. I wish I could be one of those people who are content with a stock car that works fine....

It's funny I used to go through stages with my other cars where you would love em then hate them.

So far I have only love for my Sti.... Which is good.!! Not for the bank balance tho!!

And the last part of your statement about a stock car. If you were like that then you would have traded the gen 3 in on a gen v and been content..... But we ALL know that the gen 3 and 4 are THE best looking and performing liberty's ever.!! They just need to be brought alive !!!

Your ideas for your car will certainly make it " lively" !!!

But it will be your car , your way and no one will have another one like it.!!! Think about that!!!

This happened to me with my heritage and seeing it back to stock with the stock wheels made me sad and I wanted to sell it straight away but now I am having fun with the B4 and the Enkei's are back on the heritage it feels almost as it was :)

So once you get your wheels on and plan out what you are doing with your car the love will return :air_kiss:

update time:
my headlights fried themselves for some reason (i have a theory) so i went and bought some JDM HID lights which I'm currently restoring. thanks Ben @ Ichiban Imports. has globes and wiring so i just need the ballasts.
Image
tyres fitted. front seems to fit pretty good with no camber. rear is too low and will need pumping. as previously stated, i don't want to be running camber. i will purchase a rear camber bolt kit incase.
i think I've fallen back in love with my car! :air_kiss:
