ALRIGHT UPDATE:

Confirmation that parts from TUSPEED have arrived....also in the works is an order of upgraded engine / transmission mounts and other mounts that may need replacing.. ( thanks GT TONY for the tip )...

My budget is now TOTALLY blown to shite......I'm going to be holding up a sign begging for money on dyno day..... :|

Will pop by to springy after work tomorrow and see if I can take some updated pics...

Stiffer mounts will also enhance your gear shift. A fantastic mod I think.

Yeah I have the sti ones. Did them at the same time as upgrade to sti shifter and it's so much better than stock non-tbsti.

UPDATE:

Peter from springy worked on my car today ( danny's brother in law ) as danny went home sick....hope he is alright...as usual they had time to have a chat and talk me through the car....

Alright here's the latest:

1/ I've decided to upgrade my turbo.............ahahahaha no....I toke a pic of Daniel's borg warner / precision turbo....he wants to crack 400kw + on his S15 running some type of Nissan pulsar cams which work like a VTEC? interesting talk.....the car is in bits atm but he wants to try these turbos and see which one is the better one...? the precision turbo is farking HUGE!

Back to my sick puppy:

1/ TGV's are in
2/ Injectors are in
3/ Trialling different setup / spots to place FPR ( but I have requested to mount it to the rear middle of the engine where the TMIC used to be )
4/ STI group N engine and tranny mounts are a 3-5 week wait.....cant wait that long...so I'm stuck with the OEM's for now
5/ Upgrading fuel pump to Aeromotive stealth fuel 340lph ( will look into upgrading wiring or run a relay setup to play safe with voltage and current as this thing draws....isn't that high compared to a walbro and others though...)
6/ They tried to modify my current perrin intake to fit the GTX turbo without the reducer but it was flexing too much and didnt look right......was going to sell it but its kinda hacked up so it's going in the bin...sorry vultures...sooooo I'm buying ANOTHER perrin intake from tuspeed ( this time off the shelf thank god! ) the 3" WRX/STI straight....they are almost the same....but will have to add another breather to the pipe as the WRX/STI have 3 and our LGTs have 4...

More pics and updates on monday hopefully!

Cheers

That precision looks eerily familiar

Good luck Justin - in terms of the intake pipe, why not run a catch can and eliminate your breather outlet problem

Looks like things are starting to happen over at Springy.

Can you explain the change of turbo decision and the benefits etc. What are the drive characteristics?
