Such a shame those shiny nice parts end up getting dirty and gross real quick.

Thanks J.

Yen its starting to get exciting. My oil pump arrived today too.

So it sorta goes along the lines of this.

Machine shop till Friday possibly Monday/Tuesday. Engine builder has the rest of the week to assemble and blue print.

Car is booked in for Monday the 25th at this stage to do the swap of long blocks.

It really does depend on the machinist as he is a 'perfectionist' apparently and is NEVER rushed. Does a 100% job tho so can't complain really.

If the machinist doesn't take 10 years then is will only take Nick 2-3 days to actually build the motor. Tops. If he doesn't stop, and talk sh!t for hours

Lol

So we will see.

Been quietly following this for a while. Pumped to see how your build turns out! So far it looks like it's gonna be awesome!

Hey Daniel, just leave that stuff out on your deck like in the photos.

I'll show you a magic trick where they disappear from your deck and reappear later in my engine

Thanks Guys

It has been a loooooooonnngg road.

But it looks like my car will be nice and healthy after this.

When its all done and dusted I will update the spec list of the engine. Should be fun!!!

I will be happy if the car makes the same power but on a milder tune. Even if its a little less then im not bothered , just as long as its nice and reliable !!!

Yeh the 'cruise control' mode is always on...... frustrating when you just want more then 3-5 psi of boost.!!

It will be soon. But I still have to go through the whole run in driving too. So more slowish driving coming.

It will be Next year before it all is back to normal. Wow that sounds like a long time.!! hahhaha

The fun hasn’t started yet……. Wait till the machining is complete and assembly starts.

I give it two months after you have the block built and engine running before you decide your "stock" boltons won't be sufficient enough :)

Knowing you can bolt on a decent turbo, exhaust, intake and fueling to make 300 plus will get the better of you - I'm willing to bet on it ;)
