Had my front rotors machined today

Found out they're Dixcel FS series - basically three steps up from standard Brembo discs - theyre a slotted amd hardened metal composite disc from what phat tells me - not a bad catch from the parts car I reckon!!

So whilst I was at it I removed the Dixcel type m pads which have plenty of meat in them still, and replaced with type z's courtesy of garage 88 for next week's track day

Should be good let's hope they bed in well before then.

Going to remove my amps tomorrow (only been in for a couple of weeks) for track day.

I'm also considering a set of the bronze alloy centre diff bushings from the legacy forums. These are meant to eliminate the weak point in the 5eat auto box and therefore allow continued launches at 3000rpm for those with modified engines making more power than stock

Will look into landed cost tomorrow too and if feasible and easy enough to fit myself then I'll grab em as insurance for the box until the 6 speed goes in

I'm not going to be anymore, decided I was going to let my car settle in for a bit so will wait for the week after :)

Good stuff on the brakes too Mick, you're going to send yourself through your window screen with the extra stopping power of the type Zs

Well my car should be getting sorted in the next few weeks. Clutch, service and tune. So we all might hit the strip and have a silver shoot out!!

I WILL definately be the slowest as i have the fuly stock turbo and least amount of killer wasps!! But i would be keen to see us represent the silver liberty club!

Sounds awesome Daniel

I'll probably be going out on wed the 19th as this is the last time I'll get a chance to go out there for eight weeks.

My mates with 04 foz and 2011 wrx Sti (230 mrt atw apparently) will be coming down on that day too so should be a food subie turnout

Maybe let's make a meet event topic in nsw section?
