Lol no I am reading the figures off the specs sheets that came with the springs :)

Nick at Entra Imports www.entra.com.au is the only distributor in Australia that I know of. He can get the coilover springs despite not being listed specifically on his website, you'll just have to wait a bit for them to come from USA.

Came 3rd in my 3ltr and over class. :beach:
Not much chance against a Shelby Cobra and 911 porka.
got a 1:49 last time, so aiming for 45-47.

Nice, I haven't driven Winton yet it's on the to-do list. I have some other events around June so will have to see closer to the date if I can make it.

I've done the island in a go kart, does that count? ;)

Just got back from Sandown. Had an off after the front straight. Tyres got too hot, understeered, jumped the rumblestrip and ended up eating grass. A supra came off at end of rear straight and and ate the rails. An Alfa had a breakdown of some sort. Both those cars went home on a flatbed.

I've got Flex's too.

No measurements, putting a g/box in over Easter (that's what Jesus would want me to do), so if I remember i'll measure them.
What exactly do I measure thou? Overall height, number of coils?
I'll see if they have part numbers on the springs too.

internal diameter is 65mm, they are 175mm in height.
All while out of coilover, spring sitting on ground.

Well my rear Swift springs arrived from Nick @ Entra on friday arvo.
Damn they arrived quickly. from 3 weekks down to just under 2.
Shipped from the states, then to my door. Thumbs up for the service.

Fitted the 9kg rear springs on friday night, took about 1.5 hours.
Have lowered the ride height to now to 340mm front and rear.
Chassis is now level front and rear from the ground as well.

Well fuck-me.
With a ghetto by eye wheel alignment in the rear she is on rails. I tested on my usual corner. Previous was 60kph, now an easy 75+. That is with bald semi-slicks on a damp road as well. Will take the wagon down to torquay and get my ContactSport2's fitted and get her on the rack and pointing true. I think it is very very wrong just how good she is finnaly handling. It a shame she wasnt setup like this at winton or calder couple of months ago, as i recon i could have easily shaved a couple of seconds of the time i set.

Anyone with a Gen3/Gen4 when selecting springs need to make sure the rears are around 35% stiffer.
The balance is now beautiful. 8)

now i just gotta choose a turbo to bolt onto her.
gt35R, GT3788R, GT40R.... :angry2:

Got under the outback last weekend.
Removed the 10-15kg tow kit, got a rodeo work ute for that.
Main job was changing the diff bushes which went very well.
b4 when flat shifting the 6mt or launching on the 6-puk clutch the diff would wack.
No such chance now, diff just sits there. very low compliant poly bush. not extra NVH.

Turbo wise, have been looking at possibly going a Diesel Variable Vane Turbo.
Might get one off the Ford Powerstroke, can be had for $3-400.

How'd you get the old bushes out - make a tool, heat/burn them out?
I've got a set that's been sitting here for over a month...
