Impressive work there mate. Not my sort of thing but each to their own. I predict you may have some issues keeping the wheel and seats looking clean with the new design.

Fangin, I was actually thinking my next mod will be a massive bumper sticker with the words "When I grow up I wanna be just like this..." written next to a picture of your car. Hell, I might even frame it with neons!!

There's a new Lambo that's got this colour combo in it's interior as well. It's a strong statement but can look the biz (in person).

You could have gone the Elise Exige version and done bright orange. Now that would have looked bad. I think what you've done there is on the fringe of what is seen as acceptable in the conservative sports sedan world, but wouldn't look out of place in an 'M5' style super sports sedan. It's the ballzy move that Subie Aust would never take on a Lib STi S404 (or similar type thing). A statement that you've just gotta trust the market will run with because the car has the cred to carry it (like a Lambo or tickled M3)

Fangin - play on words champ...

cpitts - well put mate. Although I wouldn't quite put the Lib in the same realm as an M3 or lambo. Thing is, my 5 series had the exact same interior and was a sort after package when I sold it. Just a different market in this forum. But really, I don't care, I love it and it makes for good conversation on this forum and when people see it in the flesh. Glad to be unique!

Cheers

Fangin - Club Liberty is one of the very few forums I am part of where we DONT flame people for the choices they make.. lets keep it that way, if you dont like it, say so, but there is no need to denegrade a fellow member!

Sentinel - Personally I think it looks fantastic, personally I think the "GT-B" cheapens it, but other than that, fantastic job! I have always had a soft spot for light leather interiors on dark cars! (ala BMW ;) )

LOL!! Fangin.. you funny guy :) Shano is gonna send you a ticket mate.

Steve, you should meet him one day, he talks so much on the forum but is very very quiet in real life.

He is the only member I know of that comes to a meet with his mum. Granted his mum is cooler then him :)

LOL! Young Ethan (or in Trieu's case, he calls him Nathan) is just kidding around. :D

But I think proper etiquette should be that you know the person you're flaming or make fun of well, or have at least met them in person.

Yeah, the GT-B is probably the part that doesn't gel with me.

I think if you had have embossed it into the leather and 100% replicated the GT Spec B badge off the back of the car then that would have looked superb and sufficiently subtle. But really, this is splitting hairs.

Out of common courtesy to forum members maybe the 'rice police' could tone it down a little with the bluntness and sarcasm. I'm sure Sentinel put alot of time, effort and money into this plus its arguable if one would consider this mod 'rice' so maybe you're out of your jurisdiction on this one
