Mike, i think the question that should be answered is.

what is stronger ?? does heavy mean yes its stronger or no it doesnt.

Well certainly I know what feels better through the corners.

I guess the strength of sway bars comes primarily from torsional resistance through the main section and, to a lesser degree, via bending resistance in the ends?

Does anyone know?

Mick you are right its all about torsional resistance

Cusco lists the below for there sway bars

front 23mm at a 132% increase in torsional resistance

rear 21mm at a 224% increase in torsional resistance


*below is not directed at you Mick*

also the subaru guy that stated the factory bars a solid should go work at Macers making burgers as he clearly know nothing about libertys or Subarus in genaral

Just received a further reply from Subaru...

After double-checking with technical specifications for this model I can confirm that as suspected, the front stabiliser bar is solid and the rear is hollow.
