Still awaiting return email from US concerning a custom pillar pod so, if whether is fine tomorrow, or next few days may look @ a temporary fitment of the WB o2 sensor & gauge. Really want to know the AFR's @ 15psi? Then 17.

This way, I may leave it back @ 17? At least I'll know this aspect of the tune that was done years back. Annoying noone on local forums knows of the owner who performad conversion & @ least, where the dyno was done.

Car performs without a hickup other than a hesitation now just @ start up like it begins too rich, then the ECU compensates. Not enough to be concerned about but, think it's a good time to view the AFR's

Decided to not go with the pillar pod. US guy wanted me to send my pillar panel over there first

Thinking more about it, I'd rather a dash pod similar to how the Rex's & Foresters have set up. Found a guy who is shipping me the pod minus gauges as I have my own already. Hopefully be here in a little over a week? Will be doing a mock install to see what must be done. No doubt it'll be a drama but myself & another member of another local site who lives in next suburb so will be checking out the pros & cons once it's here over a few beers 8)

Will post some pics of what is decided upon. Others may benefit from it but, I'd say there will be hacking/cutting & drilling involved..........

Look forward to seeing the results. There is a guy on subyclub who mounted a gc8 pod in his B4, will try and dig up the link.

Thanks for your effort. Much appreciated! Thanks heaps also for the pics in 2nd post 8)

Funny, I've mentioned this on subyclub & no replies concerning this build from anyone lol

Will keep ya posted how it goes :assassin: May not be an easy mod @ all due to the dash pad shape........

EDIT: Kinda less than impressed with how these sit on the B4 dash after looking @ it a 2nd & 3rd time. I may opt to just hang a gauge each side of the steering column like I've seen. Maybe just the WB o2 & Boost gauges?

After driving this evening, I'm leaning towards putting the slightly larger o2 gauge smack bang in the top middle of steering column & the other 2 on each side.

Ahhhhh the gauge dilemma, I feel your pain.

Took me 2 months but have finally decided how I will mount my 4 x 52mm.

Good luck, keen to see how you end up getting them mounted.

Yeah, bugger of a dilemma. I feel that up on the steering column is the best for viewing & will only partially abscure the speedo & revs (who cares down that low haha). Least this way they'll all be together in a practical sense. Only, how do you maker the fit look kinda professional? Could get a steering pod made from same guy in US as was going to do the pillar?

Think I'll dummy mount them for now & see how it goes. Also found a tip with the o2 sensor. Rather than wire it to accessories, better to have a switch to activate it after car warms up a little. Apparently, start up cold temps will shorten life of the sensor due to moisture condensation. Also, prevents damage from same 8)

I'll be trying to find time tomorrow to do a dummy fit.
