New tyres are on (Dunlop SP Sport Maxx) seem to have more grip and more precise then the Falken 452's.

Image

Tidied up my boot that was in shocking condition, this was after a wash, clay bar and paint cleaner!

Image

Yes that appears to be a dick and balls scratched into the paint.

Image

After: Only deep stone chip/cut still let but all water spots etc gone and in day light looks fine, might get it resprayed one day

Hoping to do a photoshoot of the whole car soon :D

Very interested in a review of those dunlops you have. The OEM Bridgestones on my GT are too noisey for my liking.

To help with noise get multi directional tyres and rotate them from side to side as well as front to back. This stops them from scolloping and becoming noisey. Also keep your tyre pressures at about 36-38 psi and check your wheel alignment. My old tyres were the factory tyres and up to the end they were never noisey. I rotated every 6000km and the wheel alignment were to factory specs (apart from my stupid rear camber). The $90 tyres I have now are directional, soft as balls, now scolloped to all shit but aren't very noisey, I keep them at 38psi and they are wearing very well.

The only tyres that should really be noisey are old tyres, or knobby tyres, like 4x4 tyres.

Also road condition effects noise a lot, do you drive on rough roads?

Nice work on the tyres Hamish, may I ask what tyre size you ended up going with? Your wheels are 18x8 if I can remember correctly.

225/40/18 on a 18x8 (sits nice and flush, not to much over hand and not stretched)

Would have preferred 235/40/18 but don't want to get defect over tyre size (It's a defect to move up to 235 in SA with our GT's) and possibly avoid insurance over a small thing

Nice, The profile looks perfect. I'm trying to find my P Zero's in a 245/35/18. Thinking 40% profile on a 245 will be a little thick.

That new boot and lip spoiler look much better Hamish. Seriously nice find. IMO definitely keep the 'Legacy' badge on too.

+1, great new addition and it only cost him $30 in the end as he sold his old boot too

Hate to say it but I've become a bit of a fan of the wagons, and that red one just looks nuts!

Great find on the spoiler Hamish, looks nice :) reminds me of the Cyber R lip spoiler too

Car looks awesome Hamish. I loooooove that rear lip spoiler! :give_heart:
IMO though, you should put the 'Legacy' badge back on. I think it'd match the 'GT' badge better, especially as they would both be in capital letters.

I agree Mark.
I have always hated the GT badge. Get rid of LIBERTY and GT.

Valid point. I'm a dumbass. Nonetheless the typography seems more similar on the 'Legacy' badge than the 'Liberty' one to me.
