Definitely is a monster and with 13.2psi at peak power, it shows the potential of E85! Stock TMIC is probably holding back gas flow as well!

Great update mate. Awesome to see such a huge improvement in power and your times up Collingrove with such minimal changes. Manual also helps with overall power too. I would be safe to say that better flowing mufflers, a bigger TMIC and retune would see the car close to 220kwatw? I give you credit where its due to 'hold back' the temptation to hit the 200 mark. It certainly sounds quite 'sleeperish' which I personally prefer. Can you please remind what exhaust changes you did make on your car other than keeping the mufflers stock?
Cheers

Look at SILNCR's result on 15psi on the same dyno from last year ;) New wastegate actuator made a massive improvement

I followed this guide on NASIOC, applies very well apart from little things like removing engine cover instead of alternator cover. And I didn't have to remove the TGV motor, but I did remove the oil filler neck thing. I get most my parts from a local guy in SA, he has heaps of contacts so gets the better prices than can be found online. I got the plug and play adapters too, so it was all very simple. Although removing those brackets was an absolute pain!

Yeah it is tempting to get it across the 200 mark, maybe I should find a generous dyno  But I honestly can't see any benefit at this point and it'll just kill my centre diff faster. I love the fact that my car looks 'factory' inside and out apart from a catch can (which I still need to buy hoses for) and the brake stopper under the bonnet :)

Exhaust consists of a phat 3" dump pipe with high flow cat, this connects to the 3" mid pipe which splits shortly after to twin 2.5" pipes(with a resonator in each parallel pipe) with lovely mandrel bends all the way to the stock mufflers and their skinny crush bent pipes :P

Please don't tempt me with more power! It took me ages to finally decide a dedicated track was the way to go :P

It has plenty more in it, I also took into account that it was tracked on a stock TMIC ;)

Is this something you do before or after your main modifications like exhaust and tmic etc. What kind of extra gain are you talking?
Cheers

It was a faulty/dying wastegate actuator spring in his car. We got out and used multigrips to hold the WG shut, as even 90% duty cycle in the tune could not get it to reach full boost

Just means you can reach15psi fast/earlier and then it also brings on boost earlier as well :)

I have a 12psi actuator in mine, 18psi at 2500rpm on E85 at the moment. Whole car wants to twist out of your hands in 3rd gear... dead set serious, I have dislocated my thumb already  That was why my wife is now running 14.7psi with ym different key for a different tune mod because it is a brutal power delivery

Ok Matt, you've convinced me. Book me in for this mod to be done when you are hear sometime next year again. I will have the tmic and exhaust done by then. Im in need of some extra grunt after being beaten by a mildy modded mid 90s wrx. :?

Sorry to hijack your thread Daniel. :P

I do like your car and what you've done heaps. Keep up the good work. 8)
Cheers

Well done Dan, so close to a 36sec time.

When was the Collingrove run, I thought the one we did was the last for the year?
