Fitted a new wastegate actuator today. Changed from a 7 psi spring to an 18 psi spring with much better scope for preload.
As far as I understand it I will need to have my boost tables changed or my car will try to run 35 psi or something amusing but detrimental.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Absolutely NOTHING wrong with 35psi...... I would LOVE 35psi..... And I know you would love 35psi.... Maybe the motor won't .... Or the drivetrain ..... But that's only a minor issue!!!

BRING IT ON....

Oh and..... Pics/video or it didn't happen.!!!
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

With e85 I doubt it would ping. It would just launch the heads out through the guards and into the next suburb.

Yeah and those heads you wanted are now in scrap metal somewhere :( :(

Do it though - would be fun :)

Don't egg him on. He needs no encouragement.

That poor old engine deserves abuse of a thoughtful, rather than mindless kind.

Ian, give me a call and we'll work something out.

Okay, so the actuator appears to be a success. Needs to go back on the dyno, so I am thinking of adding an inline booster pump, you know just to convince Tony that it is safe, so i can run more boost, and make it less safe.
