J, I can attest to how annoying an inlet pipe is to install. And that's from a 80% observer. Justin installed mine for me, and it took us a few hours and it was not fun. But the bourbon was good

Actually im already a little disapointed if truth be told. Had a few wrong parts turn up and some not at all, and yer after they had a go installing that intake they pretty much said they dont want to do mine. At this stage still waiting on tmic to show up, a correct MAF intake pipe and a silicon inlet pipe that may not go on. Also s/s oil feed lines for my turbo that never arrived. Hoping things will arrive monday morning before the actual tune. It really sucks being limited in WA tuning wise, so yer time will tell.

Wow, it's fiddly but a 45 minute job. Does that mean they don't want to do any work on your car that requires removal of the stock inlet pipe even?

That's pretty lame if a performance car workshop says they don't want to do something because it is too hard. That's loser talk.
Especially seeing I imagine there are far harder tasks and DIYers on here have done their own.

it is a business though, if a job takes ridiculous amount of time.....and you cant charge all of it, why would you want to do it.....

we turn those kinds of jobs away at my work......unless a premium is paid that covers the actual time/materials taken.

suxs that your parts are not all there! how frustrating :x

That is borderline heart breaking. But keep your chin up and stick with it. If it makes you feel better, think about me doing everything 2-3 times over at quite an expense and laugh. I sometimes think I must have been a terrible person in my past life with the bad karma I seem to have. Well, either that or a well behaved grub.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Thanks guys, turned out to not be too bad in person after being explained the damage over the phone. Even after the dramas and damage to my car, still smiled on the way home, will be all good in a few weeks.
