A few weeks ago someone backed into my car with a towball and destroyed my rear bar....... not happy! Could not find a new bar anywhere! Ain gave me a good idea and that was to purchase Brians rear bar with the tow bar cutout and fit a diffuser over it. So I did!

I am amazed at what change a diffuser can make.

Installed a Cusco brake cylinder stopper. It was a pain to install as my intercooler piping got in the way but i made it work. Just chopped the bolt to fit. Definitely feel the difference. More brake feel under heavy braking and light braking.

Update:

Installed a few more goodies over the last few weeks. I installed an AVO catless stainless steel exhaust system with Equal Length headers.

Had the car retuned after the install with Matt and loving it. Making the same power on 18psi with 500rpm earlier spool than i was on 20psi with the old custom system.

Surprisingly quieter than my last exhaust when idleing but when i open it up it gives a nice crackle on gear changes and a loud pop after WOT.

Love the headers!
But I'd wrap the slip joins as surely that's a spot where heat retention would be beneficial?

How many meters of wrap did you use?

Any idea what that CX Racing intercooler core is rated to? Can't find any usefull info on it, there's a couple of similar ones i've found that are only rated to 300hp and 22psi

300hp? you'd get that out of any top mount. Based on the size of it, I'd say that it should do at least 300kw atw, likely much more - if you want to be sure, just get a HDi, tried and tested at very high performance.

Yea 300hp seemed stupidly low. It was for one with almost the height but only 2.5 thick, rather than 3 and a few inches shorter.
only considering the CX one because the intercooler itself looks like it fits pretty well under the bumper beam.

Been looking into HDi, just not sure they'll fit and be able to keep the beam.

100% beam has to be removed - I've done some research into this, and it the crash bar is used limit damage to the engine in low speed crashes and performs no function in high speed crashes. The intercooler core is MUCH stronger than the crash bar, however. You don't even have to take my word for it...
