Installed the Whiteline sway bar and Cusco hd mounts this arvo, just went for a spin through the spur.
Car handles really well. Massive improvement. Feels so solid taking corners at speeds and it took a while to get used to the speed i could enter them at!
Lots of body roll has been eliminated too.

As for the tyres, they seem to struggle a bit now. Theyre only firewall cheapies so i'll wear them down quickly and get some Khumo's again.
The tyres make so much noise at low speeds around tight corners, anything over 70kmh and they're fine.

With the stiffness of the car, its really easy to throw it into corners, so much so that its comfortable getting the whole car sideways. Had a bit of fun though a mates driveway near narbethong!

And lastly, the car is sooooo fun on dirt roads now. Before the new sway, the body roll really made the car struggle on dirt roads, it was unpredicable.
With the new sway fitted, the body doesn't roll half as much, so it drives more like a rally car ( ) and you can hammer it sideways.

Best $260 ever spent!

Got to love mates that have hoists in their backyards!

you can't see the back of the HD mount at all because the chassis sits in the way.
Cusco supply you with a silver plate with a nut built in so you can slip it in the top of the triangular chassis because the existing mount top hole is too big- so the plate acts as a giant washer.
Does that make sense?

Heres a picture of the front of the existing mount (chassis). You can see the large hole at the top which the silver mounting plate sits behind. You might also be able to make out the shape of a triangular typed cylinder.

Surprisingly good! The sockets where juuuust long enough to reach the bolts.
Almost forgot to tighten them back up when we reconnected them though. Wouldn't have been good!
