That's really handy for anyone thinking of doing some serious mods to their lib.
Any plans to dyno it on E85?

Hell yeah i'm happy....

I didn't have a set figure in mind...just whatever comes out....Mick is always loading maps on...still heaps more things to do though....

300 would be fun, but i'm not changing my turbo, because the spool up time is amazing right now....

Update:

I finally got my ohlins installed :)

WOW......hands down an awesome coilover :)

First impressions:

Original setup - Bitsteins(3000kms) with king springs

Well I had my Ohlins installed by Peter at Road 2 Race - http://www.road2race.com.au/
Ohlins come in bits, not as a complete coilover. So there was a bit in fitting together, He also installed KCA399 (Rear Control arm - upper outer bushing - camber correction), also greased up all my bushings. They spent to solid 2 days on it, one day just on getting it handle right....Currently on damper set manufacture instruction, 10clicks pretty soft....peter said that he had never seen a coilover for the street/track as good as these. He has done a couple of them, and now wants to be a dealer for them :)
he said "I'm sick of seeing cheap crappy suspension being made....not fitting & and riding like dog. You can have a super fast car that handles like a boat, or less powerful car that handles like a go-kart....Suspension is EVERYTHING...."

I haven't given it a smash on the street yet....I'd rather do it on the track....But i have a really bad back injury (8 ruptured discs & too many surgeries) & i'm telling you this feels better than stock, comfort-ability wise. The way it takes bumps with DFV Technology..... like it glides....

I'll get some pics up soon....

I'm actually not sure whats the highest setting is on damper....? if someone could tell us.....STU :) or others

I also stuck with the stock springs instead or the eibachs 500lbs, due to my back :)

anyways talk later 8)

Well done Jackson - couldn't be happier for you mate what a bloke!

I honestly wish I could stretch my budget to the ohlins as I truly believe they're worth every penny from the reviews I have read

sounds like a brilliant setup Jack. Awesome work fella.

Is there a significant price difference between the Ohlins and say the Kido coilovers?
Cheers

You can roughly buy 4 sets of Kido to 1 Ohlins

Can vouch for the Ohlins though. Been in JSlayz wagon and they are simply amazing!!! Very smooth and no noticeable body roll, even without sways!

Great choice jacks :good: Live the car too, something about the Newport blue and orange calipers does it for me. One of my favourites on the forum :D

thanks shav :) feels so good.....I know they're expensive but i can't put a price on suspension....but don't my old setup against me

Thanks Ian :) it makes me smile.....I just loves libertys :)

on a side note: other week at maccas in the drive through with my 18" rota torques bright orange wheels. 6 highway patrol police officers walked out, one cop gave me a smile & another looked at my car and gave me a nod & said "I like that" looks good......I must of looked like an idiot because I had a stunned look on my face :)

Sensational stuff!
I suggest members go for the best coilovers they can afford but budget for professional setup as Jackson has done.
Properly set up, even my BCs handle better than my ancient Billies 8)
