I haven't seen pre-made pink decals anywhere. I would hazard a guess they'll need a custom job.

Personally I like it. Looks subtle yet purposeful, like there's more there than meets the eye. Needs A LOT more pictures though!

The effort was certainly significant. It took me all day to fit them in the end (with the rain, etc getting in the way). I had two mates over to help, but they mostly watched and gave advice, I did all the heavy lifting.

The colour is not terribly dissimilar to the stock caliper (unpainted) colour. The decals are what they are. I was after something subtle in looks (so to the untrained eye, it looks stock or at least stock-ish), and I think these achieve it, whilst now having a four-pot rotor in a monoblock caliper - the braking force isn't much higher than the stock calipers apparently, but the calipers are certainly lighter than stock (being cast aluminium rather than cast mild steel), so the unsprung mass is lower.

I'm considering a quicker steering rack (someone on here had one for sale for a while) - not just the pre-FL version (which is only a little quicker than stock), but the JDM STI version.

I'm having the hot side of the turbo ceramic coated (I am in two minds as to whether I pull the turbo apart to do this, or get a workshop to do it), and will shortly be ordering the components for a TBE (Invidia downpipe, probably going for a TCP cat-back with quad tips) - the downpipe will be ceramic coated as well.

I'm also in two minds as to whether I get a bellmouth splitter put into the downpipe - I know it's better to have it, but if I do it, I probably need to find someone local I can trust to do the work (as much as many will tell me that MSR isn't *that* far away, when you work ~60 hours a week plus have an active young family, it's far enough away to make me seriously consider my options).

I've had a wheel nut issue (lost a lock nut) - I've got a spare nut on the wheels for now, but need to purchase a new set of lock nuts, and when I do that, I'll have the wheels off, so I will get some more (and better) photos then.

$135 for ceramic coating (titanium high-heat, vs $120 for black with a lower heat rating) on the hot side of the VF52.

The Invidia downpipe will be getting the same treatment...

:)

Also trying to order a set of McGard lock nuts is proving difficult - lugshack keeps running out of them!

Picked up the hot side of the turbo today. Dropped it off with the downpipe to have a splitter welded into the bellmouth before the downpipe gets the Ceramic treatment too.

That should help keep some heat out of the Process West TMIC ("Got it in black?" "As a matter of fact, I do"). Intercooler spray nozzles are here, intercooler spray controller is here. Need to sort out the water source, seriously considering using an OEM wagon hatch spray pump in the OEM washer bottle. Then a bit of hosing, and I'm set.

3" stainless steel mid/Y-pipe should be here by the end of the week.

Still tossing up a few other things to grab... :)

Great: send me the current bill of materials/suppliers for the TMIC spray kit.
Did you get a check valve/s as well?
I requested some plugs today for the IDC sense PnP adapters.
And still got this:

I'll send my BOM through shortly BBB.

Not really a mod, but I have new tyres - Sumitomo HTR Z3s, as the tyres that came on the 17" STI rims were nudging the tread wear indicators. They still felt OK, but they wouldn't pass rego inspection.

We'll see how they go...

If you have an automatic post-FL Liberty and want to get the PW TMIC, make sure you tell Kevin that you have the auto - there's a spacer required because the bell housing is slightly different on the auto.

I guess I'm putting the factory TMIC back on... :)

OK

So, I added this:

Normally $50+, I didn't pay anywhere near that amount.

I obviously changed the oil at the same time, did a bit of fixing stuff under the bonnet (having found that the stock TMIC was leaking) and it now looks like this:

I'm going to see if there's something I can do about modifying the stock engine cover, or replacing it with something smaller that at least covers the belts/etc.

Not yet.

The VF52 has had the hot side ceramic coated. I have an Invidia downpipe, which is currently being modified to include a splitter in the bellmouth. The downpipe will then be test fitted to the car (if any bends are needed to make it fit, they'll happen then) before it's also ceramic coated. Then the turbo, downpipe and mid/Y-pipe will all be installed together (yes, the TMIC will have to come off for this, but that won't be a big issue, the PW one is actually easier to remove and put back in place than the stock one).
