Would be worth it if you want to fork out an extra ~$150

+1, they have an additional rear sub-frame brace plus are of a thicker steel construction.

PS Jay they're only $120ish from memory.

Already sent an email to G88. Just after a part number in case my local parts guy can get them cheaper ;)

Thanks, I'll give the AVO ones a look, seems a bit excessive though... And expensive for something I could make if I had a welder...

I think the Cusco one is maybe $30-40 cheaper but IMO the AVO unit is a superior design and worth the extra coin.

I just ordered Cusco mounts on Tuesday Daniel. Depending on if you are racing and pushing the car to it's ultimate limits more than 75% of the time, I would think the Cusco mounts should suffice for the street and occasional track day. But its up to you and it's your $$$
Cheers

Looking at pictures of the welds I might go for the AVO ones... Car will hopefully see a few more track days so might as well keep doing stuff properly :P

That's a fair call mate considering the application of the vehicle.

AVO ones are stronger. Keep in mind too Dan if you do some bracing you will have stay with AVO or change mounts if you want to run cusco bracing.
They share mounting points and you can't have more then one on each.

Thanks, no intentions on bracing, I'd spend the extra on some Ohlins instead personally ;)

So the Cusco mounts are $95... That's even more ridiculous than the AVO ones...

Defiantly Dan. $$$ well spent.

Yea cusco are $90-$95. AVO $100-$130. Some good money on some good bits.

Ordered a Cusco rear sway bar and AVO HD mounts, hopefully they get here before the gymkhana next Sunday...

Also installed a fire extinguisher to meet the regulations. Figured I'd do it properly and make a neat bracket up so I can just keep it there. Allows full operation of the passenger seat, all the brackets painted black to keep it looking neat and uses the existing seat bolts :)
