Yeah I seen that they were a bit pricy, are they at all lighter than the standard ones?

You're supposed to clip the carbon fibre ones onto the plastic ones...so being lighter wouldn't matter as it's just added onto the original ones

You're kidding me right? You weren't really considering buying $1,000 carbon fibre engine covers because they would reduce the weight by <1kg?

These engine covers are for bling man, style over performance :lol:

Nar I hate clip on crap why spend that much on clip on

weighing less would be a bonus

You can put it in using the same plastic clips the original ones go into, they don't "clip" on as such they just sit over the original ones. I don't even have the original abs one I'm only using the carbon fibre one it goes in exactly the same position
