Yeah she's getting there, after the brakes I'll sort out the wheels/tyres and then the mods will have to stop for a few months :(

Got some brakes in mind. Something a little different to what's available in Aus ;) Some nice but simple looking rotors and quiet street pads to match.

It's hard to explain, the gearbox feels more like my old SP20 (Sister's car now) with it. I don't have to feel for a gear any more, it's just there. Used to feel a bit different under hard acceleration than it did just sitting in the car.

You can get Torque Solution pitch stoppers landed in Aus from the US for just over $80...

Torque Solutions is a reputable brand.

Their pitch stopper will do the same good job that the perrin will do

Any solid pitch stopper is better than the subaru one :)

I'm going to disagree with Simon. Simply looking at the Torqued Solution design would indicate more likelihood of flex.

Then there's the quality of the rubber. Perrin rates their duro bushes to 80 and 85. The Torqued Solution is a softer bush.

BTW I have the kartboy which is even harder and apparently a bit more NVH. I don't feel it on my setup.

All this does contribute to the overall working of the mount. All are better than stock item.

You pick.

Kartboy one was the same price as the Perrin. But I read a few people commenting about increased NVH with it so I went with Perrin. A few people were saying no increase at all with the Perrin one so I bought it based on that :)

Stops the engine/gearbox 'pitching' (rocking) back and forth when you put load through the drivetrain. Got to the point where under hard downshifting the gearbox would pitch enough it'd force the rear diff to move/pivot and the knuckle where the tailshaft goes into the rear diff was dropping at least an inch...

I've updated my mod list with a few little mods:
-Cree LED indicator and brake lights
-Hood dampers
-Project Mu NS pads for street - super quiet and low dust :D

So... Rear sway bar time... Maybe... Looking at Cusco 21mm with the Cusco HD mounts. Does anyone have a part number for the mounts?

I know all the performance benefits, but what are the downsides? Does it make the ride noticeably harsher?

Noticeably? Very very very subtle. Doesn't make it uncomfortable by any means.
You don't need a part number, just hit up Garage 88!
