I'd say it's never going to be that 11 second car you want it to be.

Small displacement engine, large turbo, awd and auto is just not a combo that I've ever seen do well down the drag strip.

Keep it or sell it, but don't spend any more money on it would be my advice.

I do feel for you...

Setbacks like this make it all the more sweeter when you get it there.

Good luck with it, im sure you will make it happen.

Just to add something (for the doubters)

That gauge you see on the left in the cubby hole is boost. In bar. The first number is 0.5. The second is 1.0. 1.0 bar = 14psi

I let go of the brake early so that launch was shy of 1 bar or closer to 10psi. Reason being I had a car full of stuff and a mate that weighs 105kg with me. My centre diff doesn't need additional stress.

One second more and I would've launched at over 14psi and smoked all four wheels

Thanks for watching

Yeah maybe tony but again why stress the motor even more when there's no need

I logged a 3.4 second 0-100 run yesterday

That roughly equates to a 1.65 60ft time. Do the math on the rest of the e/t

And there’s your proof……… Now stop backing off the throttle too early and giving these keyboard mechanic/racers ammunition

when making the video did you get the car hot, drive around for a while then did the launch? have you ever just left your car idle like your waiting to get into the strip for a run to see if you can stall It up? could your car be suffering heat soak before you get on the strip and when this happens the exhaust temp drops and the combination cause the car not to boost on stall?

senator, who are referring too?

That was after 15 mins of driving - normal driving not ridiculous boosting

And no - it's directly related to exhaust manifold heat.

If I leave it idling it doesn't do much for header heat. Needs some load to generate heat.

Straight up from idling it won't spool up like that.

That's what I was trying to say when you said you don't believe its heat / wrap related.
