once I get the car I'll let Phat know to get the guide and filter for me and then I'll drive it for about a month or so....then add the mod...

once done I'll be looking at the corazon muhahahahah :twisted:

hopefully the air guide will not interfere with it....

You'll need to cut top part of the grille on the driver's side. Otherwise it's blocking the airflow from the air intake guide! :unsure:

The grille material is pretty tough, so you'll need an angle grinder. I tried a DIY job with a hacksaw. Err, no! :stop: Since you'll need to get it painted, ask the paint/body shop to cut it for you as they should have that equipment there.

reviving an old thread....2 days in and mileage estimate is 15.6l/100km and lost half a tank of fuel with only doing 200km....

air guide and filter are in hand but will hold off on the air filter install till first service while the air guide will be on soon....when Phats tell me the other bits are here....

tbh i have no idea how it works....(that's because I haven't read the owner's manual....)all i can say is after 2 days of driving and clocking up my first 200 kays i've lost half a tank and the sat nav screen is telling me my usage is 15.6l/100k

Honestly, I didn't buy a GT to worry about the mileage per tank. But on the next tank, fill up with 98 and see how it goes. By then the ECU would have optimised itself to your driving style.

Otherwise you can always drive it in "i" mode for the next 6 months. :biggrin:

and be called "driving miss daisy?" nah... just surprised that's all...dying for the bits to go on the car before the wife says anything...have to be patient...

reviving an old thread to keep interest up for people who have not got one of these....

thanks Phat for installing the other bits....the airguide is on so will see what it will do .... (easy to install not quite aligned to the holes on the vehicle but that is not an issue)
