Ah bugger, thats a shame.. so its the TMIC thats restricting you?

Yeah check out the racerX FMIC kit, looks pretty damn good value for money in a bolt on setup.

 Road trip to Sydney mate to get one of Phat's custom fmic

Shame about the tmic, i was watching your build in order to help me sort out the direction I'll be taking with my car..... E85 would be my pick before a fmic, should be fun for a daily.

mrgreen: Road trip to Sydney mate to get one of Phat's custom fmic = tempting! when I was there I asked phat if he could make me one....but he said he makes it per car and there bulid setup...I'm in no position to ship the car there and I cant drive up there and back....flat out at work til after xmas atleast.....

Shame about the tmic, i was watching your build in order to help me sort out the direction I'll be taking with my car..... E85 would be my pick before a fmic, should be fun for a daily. = so whats the decision tony? going all out? or sticking to a modest layout? still going down the blouch path? I'll give my car 1-2 weeks more before I palm it off to you if you still want it? just in case......hope this is okay with you?

hahaha yep, always greedy ! E85 will be a significant cost, but yeah its the last thing left that i can do to get more power out of it. Never ends does it haha :D

Perhaps check out a hyperflow wrx/sti fmic core and then get custom piping for it, thats the other option.
Or trawl through skylines australia or nissansilvia classifieds for a FMIC and do the same. I paid $300~ for mine and then got custom piping done.

The thing i like about the racerX kit, is that you retain the front crash bar, no other kit i know of does that. A BIG plus !

Well I'm considering that also........get the core that will fit front dimensions, and get Scott to fabricate and weld up the end tanks, piping, flange and buy silicon/gaskets....just CBF....like I said.......hating my car atm......

The thing i like about the racerX kit, is that you retain the front crash bar, no other kit i know of does that. A BIG plus ! =as we have discussed various times about TMIC vs FMIC ...thats the only thing holding me back....I want to retain fog lights and not loose or modify the front bar.....racerX FMIC provides this solution and is rated to about 400HP ....which I'll never reach...I just wish this bryan guy would get back to me....legacy dan sold his one back to the states recently as it didnt fit on his JDM legacy......is our AUS libertys the same as JDM? or different? cause if it is...then there goes that idea.....

yeah AUS is pretty much the same as JDM, so there goes that idea.... bugger.

*note* whenever you read a rating based on a US product in HP, drop it by 30% rule of thumb, they always over rate their products. Bloody Americans !

Your options are:
1. Custom FMIC, pain in the arse i know, and you will probably have to run E85 anyway, but my philosophy is go overkill on everything :D hahaha
2. Stick to current Perrin TMIC, start thinking about running a water meth kit, if you dont what to run E85
3. Run E85 with your current Perrin TMIC, or
4. Stop spending money !

Your options are: - - - i dont like where this is going...................

How did it "die"?

Engine failure, or crank but would not fire?
