No worries Rusty,

I'd be interestedto know if you can reduce the volume with acoustic foam attached to all sides (inside) the AVO airbox

yeah I got that too but I put mine in a custom metal box about same price I think

I did that - then sold it - then bought another one - then sold it - then bought a Blitz intake - then sold it - then bought an HKS intake - then sold it - and now I have an A'PEXi again :lol:

I'll try and quiet it down as best I can Clarence. If it's still a little too loud after that, it's back to the standard air box for good.

HAHAHA

Not quite expecting a different result - same reason I went from stock BOV to aftermarket BOV. I missed the noise, so I bought it - then I got sick of the noise, so I sold it, and so forth.

Do you still notice the flutter with the stock BOV fitted?

What I would generally refer to as flutter is caused by the BOV being tighter and air being pushed back?

I will try installing the lighter spring that came with the BOV and see if that makes a difference.
I still have to finish off the new air box lid. Once done I will post up another pic.
