Yes, you forgot to mention that one must apply RainX every two days or else it's useless :P

I have no probs and apply once every month or so.

But I do use two coats and let it sit overnight (just like my paint wax) and I domt have to park in full sun all day at work which I think helps. Any speed above 50kmh and water just runs off bewdifully

OK - rang Supercheap...

They can only do 10%, no matter what the numbers are... Not worth it guys! Go and buy them at your local SuperC. Should be 19.90 ATM.

Cheers

NB: Careful of the sizing guys. I tried a 500 on the passenger side and it was too close for my liking. Besides OEM sizes are 600 and 450mm.

That's what I'm running.

But grab a tape measure and check while you're at the store. If you think 500 passenger and 600 or 550 driver is good then run with that.

Just got BBA550 (drivers) and BBA500 (passenger) for $27 each.. damn you Melbournians and your cheap wipers!

550 fits fine, although 500 is a bit close to the outer edge, actually touching it about 2mm.. is it OK to snip it a little?
It's weird, cause the Bosch fitment guide said these were the sizes for the Liberty

Haha! So, I see some don't heed warnings. LOL. There was a reason why I said to measure your blades before buying. :D

TBH I read the guide then measured the OEM and went with the OEM.

Eitherway, how good are they! :good:

The Bosch site doesn't show if the whole wiper arm is designed to be disposed of when the blade needs replacing? $27 a pop each time is pretty steep and I would think wasteful for landfills...

I just use the Trico metal backed blades with RainX additive which is mixed into the water reservoir. Works fantastic every time no noise and a lot of the time the beads of water are pushed off the glass instead of the blade scraping it off.

Just the blade is replaced mate, not the whole arm (see below). And I was talking to a bloke who bought his 2 years ago and they're still performing like new... That's not bad I reckon for 20 bucks.
