there are a lot of purists in here sentinel.

personally i think it looks effing awesome.

similar to what i had planned to do with my wrx, never seemed to have the cash tho.

Well done mate, personally I wouldn't think it would look too 'bare' without the GTB stitching but that's just me. Way to go down a different mod path from the norm. Lookin forward to seeing what else you have in store for it

Me personally.. not a fan of the coloured seats but it ain't my car. Rather be up front and honest

rather then piss in your pocket.

BUT looking forward to seeing your other mods, that is for sure.

BTW, I didn't know there was some special certification you gotta have to sew up the leather for the airbags in seats.... for real?

No probs with being honest guys, much prefer it! Besides, if I put stuff up in the forums then I'm effectively asking people for comments. Let's be honest, if I didn't want to receive any comments at all, I wouldn't have posted. That's what this forum is all about, sharing and points of view. Appreciate all your feedback guys. Keep it coming!

As for being different, well, that probably best describes me. I just am, and do, most things differently... I get bored with the norm.

Trieu - it's for real mate. The one thing my insurance told me was that if I was going to play with the seat and it has an airbag, only a 'certified' company can do it. Apparently there is plenty of upholsterers that say they can do it, but in actual fact they're not covered :shock:

, especially in the event of an accident and it is found that the seat could have prevented injury! :nono:

Hence, I made sure that my guy could do it!

Now, where did I put that can of highllight green paint... :lol:

I know the look your after and it's hard to show in picture format.

Bold statement and certainly not for everyone, but cudos to you! It looks like the work has been done excellently which is just what's required in such a significant rework.

Very different

Personally, the colour isn't my cup of tea, but the overall design is good... But I would've left the steering wheel alone, it's almost a crime to remove the Momo goodness!

swingin - that was a massive head fk of a decision for me, but when I mocked it all up - it just looked much better (in my opinion of course!) with it on the wheel. And I figured anyone who knows a bit about the GT-B, will know it has a momo wheel anyway.

Loved drivin it yesterday in the cruise, the seat mods worked a treat!!

So I'd want to show off the face it has a Momo wheel with Momo leather

Although your choice of colour etc isn't everyone's cup O tea, you've achieved something that everyone wants... Individuality... So good on you mate!

How much did all the work set you back? If you don't mind me asking of course...
