You'll have to ask Simon, all I did was rev the thing :mrgreen: from what I heard in the cabin, it didn't sound too intrusive, but really it all depends on your centre pipe (whether you have a big assed resonator or a hot dog) and the mufflers.

i might just do what some people have done on here;
keep stock mufflers, y pipe and centre section, replace cats with high flow versions, remove third cat and replace with 2-1 collector?

Here bilco, this is my catback system :D

its not too bad. sedate driving and you can hold a normal conversation in the cabin.
under wide open throttle (WOT) its very nice and brings out the beautiful 6cyl boxer sound :air_kiss:

a little bit of A and a little bit of B

the mild steel kit is coated in a heat proof paint so it should theoretically last for quite a while, stainless will last for nearly forever.

mild steel will give a bass-ier note to the sound, stainless will give a rasp-ier note to the sound.
i myself have the mild steel system, as they didnt have the stainless kit at the time of purchase, but were getting in an order of the mild steel system the following monday

That didn't take long :D

That's one good thing about the RX. It's age, relative worth and the fact that I will be getting rid of it at some stage make it a good defence to the mod bug! :P
