I'll be honest.. I don't think the wrapping of the headers and keeping heat in them is going to fix the issue of getting onto boost much earlier than it is! I think u needs a bigger stall or a manual, or maybe a smaller turbo

GB - I can guarantee you its heat related.

Before my last run tonight I was driving around the back grass area of Wsid spooling it up and I launched it then and it launched at 14psi no problem - stalled up fine

Kept heat into it but by time I got into staging lanes and lined up (even revving it to keep heat in etc), they cooled down too much and it bogged down

Two options one of which will be decided by Saturday:

1. Nos kit once and for all

2. Sell the built auto and make the 6 speed work

Either one will fix the spool issue without worrying about heat in headers and more shit like that.

Best run tonight was 12.85 with a 2.55 60 ft'er

Drop 60 ft to 1.65 (which it will do when launching at 4000rpm 14psi as even my old setup did 1.72 or 1.74 60ft with 10psi at 3500rpm), and all of a sudden a 11 flat is reality

Damn that licks the proverbial hairy sack big time! :x

There is a third option...

"3. nitrous oxide AND sell the built auto and make the 6MT conversion work"

Mick it was such a shame NOT to see your beast launch at 14psi last night.

I think you will be much happier with a 6 speed conversion to get over the in gear lag as well.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??
