When is this happening?? Who is doing the work.??

I want PICS and massive amounts of them.

That 3.6L Outback guy? He is doing the dump pipe and external gate plumbing, since the setup will be similar to his but my turbo will be on the other side

Engine arrives assembled then local shop is doing the mechanical work(same place that we did Purdy's supercharger install) and then tune

It came about as the A45 is delayed, so rather than wait we changed the order from A45 to GLA45 and can get the car earlier than the expected delivery date on the A45. I still get to do my E85 tune and she gets a confortable SUV to drive ;)

Motor is coming from the UK, friend of a friend knows a thing or 2 about the EJ25's. Closed deck, sleeved, dowelled, O ringed, crank phased and some other oiling mods done.

Yeah, got a 2009 Outback that should be on the dyno in a few weeks. They only come in auto so not expecting huge numbers but should be nice to drive

Found a FPR for you as well :)

This is the housing:
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... y_Code=NEW

Two of these: http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... y_Code=NEW with one for the turbo and another for the single WG to have a Twinscroll input without blending the exhaust pulses until the WG opens(no turbulence in the manifold)

You would be correct in your assumption. They are even thorough enough to wait on exhaust manifold lengths and volume etc to ensure heads are built for optimal flow. None of this get X brand headers cause it made good power despite being a different turbo mentality that exists in the USA/locally.

I bet the wifeys happy with ur change of plans with the GLA45. She'll be waisting all sorts off the lights with the AMG launch control.
Geez the fozzy's new bottom end will be one tough motherfucking beast. Whats the ETA at present.

Thanx for finding the FPR, is that the holley one u mentioned. Im still considering a new TurboSmart FPR800, just not sure on fittings ill need at the moment.
Talk soon about this any way, im spamin ur thread.

The new turbo set-up looks awesome, knowing nothing about turbos, are these V-band housings n the like a relatively new development or I just haven't heard of them. :D

GL with it all coming together n ill talk to u soon. Bring the corn juice on. :)

V band twin scroll is definitely new tech, used to be a 4 bolt square flange that takes up space, this makes it a cleaner fit in the minimal space available. Parts left USA and I should have them by end of month at latest. Motor should arrive a few weeks later as coming by boat, air freight on an engine crate is a joke for $$
