Haha yes I know but I also wanted to rant because a P plater is allowed to drive an Aurion which isn't slow at 200kw! My ego is badly bruised :(

Love your car Rome :)

Do you have any close up shots of Phat's Foglight mod? It doesn't look like you lost your LH foglight?

Hey mate, I will try to take one on my lunch break today. It doesn't remove the foglight, I'll try to explain it. When you have a chance take a look at your honeycomb foglight surrounds and notice how some of the honeycomb has holes, while other parts are filled through. What he does is puts holes in all of the honeycomb so that the air can flow freely through. Looks better on a black car because the front bar support is dark coloured so not obvious but if you look at mine you can see the silver coming through the gap if you look at it from a lower angle.

It won't make much sense til I post a pic :P

haha I sort of know what you mean now, good explanation :D
Could I trouble you for a picture of how it feeds to your pod filter too? Does the custom intake completely negate having some sort of air box so it doesn't suck in hot engine bay air?

With difficulty!! Haha, so that you save on shipping, Phat gets it shipped with other things so it comes a little bent up and you have to straighten it out. I'd suggest either leaving it out in the sun for a few hours or blasting it with a hairdryer for ages to get it nice and bendy and flexible. Then carefully line it up on one side, and start peeling away the backing tape of the double sided tape and fitting it on bit by bit, keeping it warm with the hair dryer every so often to make sure you can bend it into place properly. It's really hard trying to pick where to stick it so that it sits as flush as possible! Good luck though because the effort is definitely worth it in the end! Would much rather scrape this rubber extension than the lip!

I have a pic of my pod filter on my first post, it's just a short ram intake, Phat recommends against having one that goes all the way down as the longer it is, the more the car has to work to get the air in. I have a carbon fibre airbox on mine now to match the rest of my zero sports carbon fibre covers...

The foglight mod is just to open up a new place for air to flow into the engine bay :)

You have the k2 gear eyelids right? Did you source them through PHAT or by other means?

How does installing a FMIC fall into the legal side of things? Can you get yellow stickered over it? How much cutting of the front bar is required?
