bates91 wrote:ok so bit of an update

picked up damd side skirt and rear lip extensions from michael last week or so. because i know people are going to ask, they cost me $840 and $400 respectively (sides/rears). not cheap, but its DAMD
this shit is crazy. best fitment ive ever seen on an aftermarket part.
decided to do something different and paint them blue (And the front lip as well). they came in black obviously, blacks been done before (in fact ive never seen ones not done in black, regardless of car), so i thought hey why not try something different
taught myself to spray paint in the process, good skill to have.

will probably change them back to black once i get over it but for now im enjoying turning heads and raising eyebrows :D

also purchased justins K2 gear headers :D :D so will get around to having them installed in a week or two, followed by a kido tune once i progress up the waiting list  /... :(

aaand then...NO MORE MODS! for now haha.

Good stuff on trying something different! I'm a fan as it really suits your wheels colour scheme.
Would love to see it in person one day or maybe even do a shoot of your ride :)

I like it, nice contrast to the matte grey :good:
One thing I would do the rear diffuser also.
Will tie it all together even more.

Your wrap has definitely got a lot of people thinking about doing similar, including myself

Headers are getting installed tomorrow :D :D fun times ahead
and group n engine and transmission mounts to firm everything up, will report on benefits of these for sure

swapped mufflers with starrn just to trial it out (TCP vs my magnaflow ones), sound is pretty similar, just getting a bit less drone + noise overall, and less of a bass-y tone. missing the gigantic tips though haha

kido tune to come hopefully soon after header install, am on waiting list atm for a remote tune but saw matt post a couple of days back about organising a sydney trip in just under a month so will probably hold out for that :D

How about wrapping the DAMD gear same colour as the body work?
P.S. May I ask where you got the weathershields from?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!
