Seats are from the 07 tbsti I wrecked (also using the doorcards)

maybe DAMD black/red D shape in the future?

As long as you're not in a hurry - I'm thinking I will stockpile a whole bunch of stuff and then go crazy and have a whole new car :)

Sale is with some nice interior bits, so I should get them in so I can enjoy them while I still have it!

There's a bit of work involved in getting the trims on, but it's not too bad:

oh man it looks good, AND the extra bolstering is awesome, AND the post-FL seats are significantly lower. Everyone needs to get some TBSTi seats (or better).

They're just postFl Gt seats Matt...

The bolstering and alcantara on the preFL tbSti was pretty cool though.

These are 07 TBSTi seats, red stitched, better bolstering, STi embroidery. (all leather though, no alcantara)

If that's the case (and I have no information on if it's the case or not), the post-FL have much better bolstering than the pre-FL - I have nothing to compare it against other than my pre-FL seats. They still look awesome though.

Installed my kap industries bracket with an SCA extinguisher (Sorry applegeek, it's coming out before it goes to you unless you want to pay for it - but safer for me to have it in now)

Image

Meanwhile I also installed the TBSTi door trims, hard to get across in photos, but it really adds that extra element to the car. The only thing I regret is not getting the steering wheel wrap from redlinegoods - sure it's another $100 or whatever, but it would have completed the interior, and made the DAMD even more of a waste of money. - applegeek if I was you, this would be the first mod I would do, it will be worth every cent.

Yeah they are the same as the spec B facelift seats but with the nice red stitching and STI embroidery. I've just come out of a pre-facelift into a FL spec B and it's as you say, they do sit lower which is a much better feel. The preface seats seem to have a deeper bum bit and better suited to skinnier folk but the bolstering does generally feel better on the facelift seats.

Looks like some exciting bits going into the car!

Funny you guys say that. I've always hated the lack of bolstering compared to the pre facelift ones which are essentially the same as 3rd gens. Absolutly no support from the base. Liked being almost jammed in there so your not sliding around on the leather all the time. The prefacelift Jap tbSTI ones i had sitting in the garage for a while were absolutly perfect in every way, except for not having airbags :/

They definately look like post facelift from the shape but they're missing the double stitched piece halfway up the upper. Only has a single stitch there.
