Think they are supposed to hang a line from the top of the arch and it can't touch the wheel...... See a few cars that wouldn't meet that test...

It'd still fail that because of the spoke design. Oh well, going to put stock wheels on, clear defect, apply camber, then flaring guards or aftermarket wider ones if needed

Not sure what limit you're talking about shav  The tail lights are clearly visible and with a bit of camber the wheels should be fine. I'm sure I could get them engineered if I wanted to go to the effort and money but I'd rather just swap it all for now

Yeah they're 18x8.5 but running no camber so they poke a little bit, I think 18x8s would sit flush with a 45 offset and no camber

Im running that size wheel with 0.5-0.7 deg of negative camber now. The front sits flush if not slightly in at the top of the wheel. Ive had no issues with scrubbing either.

Got the defect cleared yesterday, no picture because car looks weird. It's reminded me how much I like the style of the stock wheels, but the specs are too weak. The tail lights also look odd to me because I've never seen the car without the tint and I don't like how red they are, needs a very light tint just to take the edge off I think

Well. My new wheels arrived this morning only took 6 weeks from rays to my door which I thought was pretty good. They're Rays 57Valkyrie in 18x8.5 +45, very uncommon wheel and have never seen a set on a liberty before so I can't wait. Just have to send them off to get powdercoated black and get the tyres fitted (continental mc5's again) then they'll be on :D

Cheers shav, seriously can't wait to get them on :)

Weighed the wheels and tyres before each wheel is 9.5kg and tyres are 9kg each, I'm pretty happy with 18.5kg per corner and I'm keen to see how much the stickies weigh as a comparison

Unique choice, I like it!
Saw on Facebook that you're looking to paint them black, love this idea but my thought is not to go too dark or matte so that you don't lose all the beautiful detail.

Either way it'll look great I'm sure, can't wait to see pictures with them on!
