Cheers mate, looks like I have more research to do.

No worries. I recommend calling up the guys at Garage 88 as they have an off the shelf AVO unit I believe that will fit the auto's without further modification. But they do ask an added price over the manual variants. $900 or there abouts from memory.

Are you sure it's AVO? I didn't think they supplied AVO parts...

You may be right mate. That was the name I had on the top of my head. It's most probably another name. But I do remember them offering a bolt on dump for the autos.

me and a mate spent the Saturday arvo, dynamatting the rear parcel shelf. We did the underside of the PS as it was easier access to get to from the boot. Found out that once the dynamat was fitted that the vibration didn't totally go away, and we concluded that the sub is on its way out or completely stuffed. All in all the vibration was reduced about 50%. Far less noticeable with the dynamat fitted. Still worth doing. But I will look into getting the Polk sub as a replacement for optimal reduction in vibration.

Getting Whiteline ADJ sways and HD mounts fitted Friday, as well as trans flush and service. Will post up some pics later.

Thanks Patrick. I've been only waiting 2 months for this. Finally should be able to get around corners without my door handles scrapping on the road.

Had the car in on Friday for a trans flush and service. At the same time, I got the mechanic to fit my sways, HD rear mounts and tightened up some of the intercooler pipes to the TMIC as I could feel some low down hesitation under load. The sways I have are the adjustable whiteline versions. Had them fitted to firmest setting to ensure maximum benefit as I am running stock ride height, shocks and springs.

Haven't been a decent hills drive yet, but from the initial thoughts, the car sits a lot flatter out of corners. I feel I can take corners at more speed without the feeling of the rear end wanting to slide out or overtake the front. The car is more settled and stable. It's not quite like its on rails and I reckon that's due to having stock shocks and springs still installed, but the 'fun' factor has improved heaps. In my mind it's a excellent improvement in handling without compromising ride quality.

With the TMIC pipes now tightened, I am able to accelerate a lot smoother. There is less hesitation in boost and it feels more confident in wanting to go and hold boost the whole way thru.

Also even though I can't really feel the difference in what the HD rear sway mounts are doing, at least I know they won't break when Im pushing the car and give me some confidence when I drive.

Thanks Patrick.

It's certainly made driving the car a more exciting experience. I mean the car is still a great drive and is the best car I have owned, but the added stability of the car with the sways just makes it more fun not just in a straight line, but also in corners. You can throw the car in the corners with more speed and confidence knowing the car doesn't feel like its gonna roll over, or the rear end is gonna pop out. Adding the better feel on boost and its a great recipe for trouble free times.
Cheers

well I cant comment on what its like with just the rear done only. One thing you might want to do if you get the adjustable versions is set your front bar to soft and have the rear on hard. That way the car won't induce oversteer. I am finding the car can get twitchy if you tug on the wheel a bit too eagerly with both bars on hard. So minor corrections are required. I am assuming with the front set to soft, it will still turn better than stock but will allow you to exit a corner with a bit more compliance to your movements rather than an all out feeling like you are about to do a 360. I must say though that it's not excessive oversteer, just that with stock ride height you can feel it more. Had I lowered the car, it would be less prevalent.
Cheers
