I do not recall your grille specifically. Can you post a photos or link to where I can see one? Or is it the standard Spec B honeycomb mesh?

Yes do like those, but they do not make them for the MY05 3.0R.

Here's my effort today to modify the Subaru Sports Mesh Grille with the Coarse Honeycomb Mesh:

It is just a cut out of the new coarse mesh sitting in the frame of the Subaru Sports Mesh Grille, with the original mesh removed. I have not yet worked out the fastening but will probably need some dedicated small brackets similar to those that hold in the original plastic coated metal mesh.

Thanks, it has not grabbed me yet, but we will soon get an idea when I can get it fastened then mounted on the car. Won't be until May sometime.

Correct, the last tune I had done was by HPF after the valve body mod and they did manage to remove most of the DBW lag that used to be inherent in the 3.0R auto. Used to be the worst turbo lag I had ever experienced from an NA car! Kick down is now as quick as a Falcodore. Now, she just, she just, she just GOES! :D

Good for you mark, that's 1 happy customer out of so many unhappy ones?

What can I say? As you know...I have a very negative / bad experience with HPF

I hope they look after you and your car in the present & future

All the best mate! I would like to experience your car and Gino's sometime....I do have a soft spot for supercharge cars

That honeycomb grill is WinRAR. Want to see it on the car.

Though I'm sure I saw a honeycomb grill for the 3.0R on japanparts.com...

Looks good Mark.

Need to see it on the car, but I think it will look better without that black bar in the centre behind the mesh.

The auto box valve body mods were done by Kewish Automotive and I think the DBW tune was then touched up by HPF, but not really sure. Anyway, when I go back to Kewish in May, I will speak more about who did what.

When I get the shift points sorted, I will take you for a run, but I rarely let other drive my car so I can only ever blame myself if anything goes wrong. I would hate for you manual box boys to use D for drag, then when you get going, slip it into R for race...

Just had a quick look for "grille" and could not find one. Saw the Sports Mesh and another honeycomb one which was set deep, but not for 3.0R. Anyway, there are lots of possibilities....

Yes, I agree, and was toying with the idea of taking the Dremel to it yesterday, but wanted to see if I can make the honeycomb mesh fit before I start cutting. Won't be on the car for several weeks until I get to make some clips.
