Since when has this influenced your decision making? :?

With wheels, if they don't look ridiculous, you should be right. I haven't heard of people being defected for them only. Usually it's for something more serious and the wheels being questioned are an added bonus.

Because it won't exactly be a stealth car anymore, these cars attract attention!

But yeh I really don't think these look ridiculous in terms of sizing, coyote does though

PS pretty sure this guy is running the exact set-up I want including colour:

The RTA website ALSO says that if you go wider than 26mm from stock you actually have to get certified sign off :? Mofos.

And :bad: to those Work Meisters. I am not a fan of fat spokes I think it looks ugly as chit.

The offset rule is based on original width

So a 45 offset on a 8" rim is the same as a 33 offset on an 8.5" wheel

also available in non-widebody sizing, obviously not the concave though

XT7 don't suit it tbh
i have a dislike for XXR in general, but those do actually look good! bar what you said, the multistud pattern obviously

TBH, I don't like how the front is curved and the rear has a sharp angle. Thought they would've been able to keep the curve front and rear. :(

Yeah it's illegal. Because who in their right mind would want more grip on the road?

Fuck the law. The stock rims look so narrow, it's ridikooluz.

Agreed. Best way to think of it is the distance from centre of tyre to centre of tyre. Offset changes the track which is centre of wheel distance from centre of the car

That's because it's a staggered fitment jakey, it's supposed to look like that. The different wheel width and offset is what determines the concave of the rim. If it was 18x9.5 +40 all around it would be exactly the same concave, but the fronts wouldn't fit without fouling I don't think.

Anyways I've semi-decided on a new rim thanks to coyote, and in legal fitment too. All will be revealed soon. Just need to decide if I want silver or black...

High end rims also have different spoke designs or "faces" depending on the size of caliper it needs to clear. Volk GT-C is a good example of this. So even if you have a 18x9.5 +40 for example, you can choose different faces for mor dish or more caliper clearance.

This also. A few of the rims I was looking at had a "concave" and "flat face" version of each size.

So here is the other option, although the wheel will be more of a grey than the silver on this car:
