What Has been done:
-BC coilovers
-Guards rolled and slightly pumped
-Rota MXR wheels with 215/40/18 Falken 912's

I want to use a 225 tyre next and the Rotas are temporary until I can afford a decent set of wheels. I still cant decide on what I want.

Future outlook:
-new wheels
-better coilovers
-custom grille
-rear diffuser
-a sump guard
-front lip
-delete rear wiper
-exhaust
-tune
-Some sort of forced induction later on

I only had the wheels fitted yesterday, the car sits nice but I'm not totally satisfied with the fitment/height. I'm contemplating running at least a 10mm spacer on the back and I will also be lowering the front and adding some more camber.

215/40 is a very odd size to run especially because you've stretched them 2.5 inches ( I absolutely hate stretch) but each to their own.

I can see this combo looking really dope, but you have to loose some stretch. I'd sell those tyres and buy some 225's or 235's, your ride will be way more enjoyable, it won't look like a VW on bags and you will no longer have an outie belly button of a rim.

Like the way you're straight into it:
No mucking around, prepared to learn on it/live with it.

On mine I got the guards rolled but I needed a little more rolling up on the rear guard lip just at the junction of the plastic insert and the guard.
And around 3mm off the upper inner edge of the plastic bits too to stop them catching.
Looking at the wheel at around 10 or 2 o'clock.

Yeah I definately think different tyres are in order, unless you go all out and drop it lower as that way the setup "needs" a 215. In that one pic it looks like the tyre ready to pop off the bead!

Not a massive fan of the wheels but a big fan of the specs and the fact you got them on and are rolling around on it.
