Ah yes! It's all coming back to me now. I knew I had posted better photos before but I couldn't for the life of me remember how. Thankyou again!

I only have a basic dc tig. I didnt have access to any purge equipment so I had to make do with a home made job. Surprisingly worked well. I am by no means a good tig welder, hence why the pipe will go black.

Thankyou for explaining the photos too! The next time I upload some I'll use the computer.

You should make the move over to legacygt.com, most of it is US stuff but it's still super active compared to here.

Finished off my custom intake today, well sort of. Its all on and the car is running again. I had some clearance issues with the larger diameter pipe fitting under the plastic manifold, so I bought some 8mm Phenolic spacers to lift it up. With the addition of a gasket either side of the spacer the overall lift was around 10mm. While I was there I also removed the butterflys off the TGV. I remember reading somewhere that it helps with the flow of air, but was quiet debatable. But I was already there so I thought why not. Im currently running my BOV with no re-circulation because I haven't yet figured out where to run the hose as there isn't any room under the manifold. Plus im enjoying the "dose" at the moment.

Edit: This might be a long shot, but im chasing a stock grill too. Let me know.

Update!

Decided to pull the engine and give it some love. The bottom end is all but complete, supporting Manley rods and CP pistons. The heads are currently at my work, awaiting to be cleaned and skimmed. I will be putting ARP headstuds in to hold it together. Also will be upgrading the valves and springs but are yet to source them.

I wanted the challenge of doing it all myself, I felt it'll be more appreciated that way.

Im thinking of running a gtx2867 and tuning it on e85.

Fingers crossed it doesn't blow to pieces lol!
