Ahh, that's a good question. Most places will try to scare you into getting a camber kit if they can't return the camber to 0, which is what the factory recommended setting is. However when I had my S.Techs, the camber fell between -1 and -3. Not too bad. So I just had them set it to -1 all around. However there were benefits because cornering was awesome! :D

I run -1 on the front and 0 camber on the rear as recommended by my wheel alignment shop, Wheel World. I am not chopping my rubber up any means and I did not have to buy a camber kit.

Your wheel alignment guy should be asking you what are you trying to achieve with this new spring set up I reckon.

Arith.
-1 all around sounds good.
Did you find it hard on tyres at all?

Cheers.

I run neg 0.5 fronts and -1 neg rears. Prefer more on the front, but I do plenty of hwy kays so set it up for more straight line stuff. Having said that, the rears should be less... :D

I used to run -1 in front and -2 in back, which was awesome for street handling. But that was hard on my previous set of Marangoni tires. So I went to -1, -1 and cornering is still good but much easier on the tires in terms of wear.

OOOOoook. Went and picked it up today and talked to the guy actually carrying out the work (not the guy in the sales that obviously doesn't know much). He mumbled something about needing to be able to adjust something...i asked "so i need a camber kit?" and he told me that no i dont need a camber kit as there is already one installed!!!? Something about its the something else that needs adjusting lol. Suspension is new to me, hence my ignorance. So does this mean that the previous owner installed a camber kit? Or is there something special that subaru does that could be mistaken/is similar to a camber kit? Kind of confused.

this post has my head spining :?

on a factory liberty

front has a degree of camber adjustment via an offset bolt (one of the two holding the strut to the hub) so dont buy a whiteline one cos your wasting your money replacing it with the same thing

the rear only has toe adjustment ...1-1.5degs will not give you uneven tyre wear it the guys doing the job do it right

and just for the sake of it my cars set up as follows

F: -3deg ... -1 toe
R: -1.8deg..0 toe
tyre size: 235,35.19
and the tyres wear fine it all comes down to making the car track 100% straight.........but i tell you she likes the corners
